fished from dawn to lunch time with no fish in fact not a sign of a fish. The river is low but also a dirty brown colour. The swims were not clear as there was very few places to get suitable access's to the river. Certainty not a stretch for those who struggle to walk on uneven ground. And yes I know it is a wild river and that some scrambling is to be expected but still if the beat is for 6 anglers then it should be able to have six swims available. Parking is a issue also as the waterworks area that the directions point you towards has signs on the fence stating no parking due to health and safety issues. the alternative parking is not the greatest and the walk from the car parks is not for the faint hearted !!

Started by the salmon hut but anglers on the opposite bank were casting all the way over. Made the trek to the rocks in the woods. Broken twice on the rocks by barbel who know every sharp stone.

Fantastic beat, lots of big trout sipp9ng off the surface even in the middle of the day. Lots three lumps from the same pool due to poor quality tippet, finally landed a couple later on.

My fishing chum had a decent one out of the mouth of the Senni and four others in the main river.

Water very low started late around 11 am fished both sides of the reservoir not even a knock don’t know why but the last two years not much activity in the water before plenty rising for the fly etc spoke to a few anglers same story either being over fished or not being stocked hope it’s gonna be better next time
