Barbel all small. 2 other eels.

8 Barbel, 4 Chub

Nout

2 trout caught on dry fly. Both under 1lb. River clear and fish very shy. Dippers and reasonable number of fish seen. Strong smell of sewage opposite the sewage plant. Possible untreated effluent from outflow?

On holiday in the Yorkshire dales hoping to fish the Ure but water level much too low so decided to hop over to the Tees. First time on this river. Caught one small grayling on an orange spider and missed a couple of surface takes from brown trout on an emerger pattern.

No Barbel and only 2 of the chub over 2lb. A couple of perch over 1lb 8oz on the stick float

1 barbel and 5 chub on feeder tactics in low water conditions.

River low bright sunny day...Chub to a pound ....plenty of small Dace...
