Fish were not sitting in the expected places. Difficult day - maybe because the water is lower than usual.
Very windy at times. Cloudy with episodes of sun.
Enjoyable day nonetheless.

3 small brown trout between 7" and 10" all caught on size 16 barbless caddis imitations. Water condition very low .

A couple of resident fish seen splashing in the Vanstone. No pulls today.

Had a great day trout fishing the river, 2 trout and a dace caught. 2 more trout hooked but lost.
Very few rises witnessed. Very enjoyable, will be returning in the future,
