2 barbel biggest 6 3/4lb other side of suspension bridge
Lots of walkers swimmers and kayakers … good day.

One fish around 3lb and another around half a pound both caught on spinners both returned

Wet and grey in the morning but cleared and even had sunshine in the afternoon where the majority of Chubb were caught. Not sure we found the right swim and will try again later this week

6 Chub

Fished fast water opposite island using pellets and feeder. All fish came between 5pm& 8.30pm.

With the slight rise in levels after being so low,would hope it may have be better.
2 fished landed on nymphs and two missed on dries.

All on 8mm Halibut Pellet HNV CC Moore Betaine and Sonubaits Hemp and Hali Crush

Such a shame to see the algal bloom. Where has the crystal clear water gone? Where is the lush green ranunculus? Why is there brown slime everywhere. Its criminal what has been done to this river and i do hope and expect that WUF are working together with as many organisations (both angling and non-angling) to get the suspected source of the problem - free range chicken farms, to control what they are releasing into the wye catchment.
Tough going, but still one of our favoutie beats.
other: chublets, perch (on a boilie!) and bleak.
