No fish caught today but I did see 2 trout, so there are fish there, hopefully waiting for me next time I go
Also why is there barbed wire like a third of the way up the beat, all the way across the river

Water low and Algae bloom evident but fishing reasonable considering

The state of the reservoir is shocking ! no water in it despite Cartref and Beacons being full to the brim ! litter everywhere, no bins on the west side of the lake, and clearly the lake is not being stocked and to put a top hat on it the reservoir is absolutely full to brimming with the American Signal Crayfish !! its really not fair to be charging the general public to fish a reservoir which is so poorly looked after, we certainly won't be rushing back !!
