Cool and cloudy morning at this lovely location. Lots of fly activity on the river and saw a few fish rising but couldn't interest any with dry flies or nymphs. The liveliest section seemed to be upstream but access was limited by fencing close to the bank. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful day at Trelough however the Carp were spawning so very little action, we did manage 1 lovely 14lb common caught on a pop up but that was it,

Oh & the cows were very friendly

14 lb fish caught this morning from the Llangoed Pool

Hot bright day with breeze building up over course of the day. Fished mainly the upper half of the beat. Only saw two fish rise. Hatch very sparse

Still a bit of colour in the water and decent fly hatches all day including some mayfly.
However didn’t see a rise all day so again fished nymphs.
All fish took the heaviest fly on the point mainly in the faster water.
2 large Grayling close to 2 pounds caught 1 with the dorsal fin missing maybe otter?

An early period of activity was replaced by quiet day after the sun came out! River in good condition and it was beautiful place to go fishing. 0 fish caught.
