Very short evening session. Traditional wet flies used but no takes. Saw a few jumping trout. Nice setting.

Could not fish the river because of obstacles in the river and could not go up the banks at these points because it was too over grown.

WUF Note: Thank you for the feedback, we are looking into this now and will get back to you.

Beautiful stretch of river, caught most of the fish on nymphing and couple on a dry. Wading was relatively easy. I would definitely return in the future.

A very good days fishing. Using worm on a pop-up and during the day lost four fish using too light a line (4lb). We did have issues with crayfish even with the pop-up. One crayfish was the largest I have ever seen. The crayfish issue does need resolving.

This was a new beat for us, parking was good with options at the middle and top of the beat. River looked to hold a little colour but was a little low. Fished almost every area of the beat although the bottom end is almost inaccessible in most places. Tried the float but only Fish came to standard hair rigged pellet on lead or feeder from top meadow and a swin in the woods. Little country pub at the top of the hill up the lane is the place to go for lunch. We'll be back to try again very soon thanks to wye and usk for access to our favourite river.

Lovely stretch with fairly easy access. 6 to hand, lost a few more. Tight tree cover in places but manageable.

River a little high, a few fish seen but sadly none caught. Nathan the ghillie was extreamly helpful and welcoming. A great beat to which I intend to return.
