Tricky day with the river just rising and willow branches being washed down and circling in my swim. I did think about moving but I wouldn't have avoided the rubbish that's started to move. None the less, still enjoyable and a few fish caught.

River low and weedy!
Only a couple of swims were fishable due to vegetation growth! Venue needs some tlc!

To be honest the fishing was very poor due to the river conditions

Mostly floated worm but 2 spinning

Fished Llyn Ogwen using damsel, water level was well over the banks due to heavy rainfall, tried using nymphs at the outlet but water level was too high and turbulent from floods.

Fished Llyn Idwal using nymphs on a slow retrieve had a take and lost it, nothing else afterwards.

Blanked. Water very low. Focussed on end of beat where good foam line. Unfortunately blanket weed was horrendous and did not allow good presentation. Setting was great and it was lovely to be on the river. Will be back next month when hopefully after a good flush and river at better levels.
