Ledgered meat did the trick!!
The river was flowing just right but dont take nothing for granted at this time of year, we knew it wasnt going to be easy!!!
Our first day was 2 barbel to 5lb...
And 4 chub to just over the 4lb...
Not a bad start to our 4 day session...

The smallest barbel I’ve ever seen.. about 10 inches long and under a pound.. perfection in miniature. The other one was 9lb 10 oz. A great day.

River approx 2 ft lower than when I came on Saturday and all colour gone running low and clear,chub 5lb 9oz and Barbel a double 10lb 3oz caught early on nothing for the rest of the day.Luncheon meat and feeder method used.
