nothing seen

Rising river, saw some grille, and a large salmon

Only had a couple of hours to try at the end of a weeks holiday and sadly lost a decent fish at the Vanstone Pool! No others showed.

A busy Kingfisher also frequented the pool.

Had a good morning seen 1 salmon jump at the back of van stone pool. Looked back in evening but a swarm of bees was at the main entrance gate to dangers to open gate

Nil return. No fish seen. Continuous regatta of canoes on the water. Water was also coloured and the now familiar slimy film on the gravel made it slippery under foot.

Nothing doing apart from a couple of chub on the fly.
A couple of splashes in the Vanstone early on, but nothing else seen.
