Common Carp approx 12lb, caught on luncheon meat simple run ledger rig

Warmer than yesterday and couple of light showers.
Fishing from the oak into open water produced 5 common carp.....7lb / 11lb/12lb /10lb and 14lb 12oz amazingly hard fight from all, I also had a nice bream of 7lbs which also unusually for a bream put up a fight all the way to the net !
Another enjoyable day here and very much looking forward to next year,will be back !

changeable weather conditions went from windy to calm,heavy rain showers to warm sunny spells.
saw lots of carp bubbling and managed to catch 3 nice commons one at just over 10lbs and the other two both 11 pounders.
All fish, as always in immaculate condition and very hard fighting.

Mid morning to late afternoon session, roverd about and managed 2 low double commons and lost one to a hook pull.

2nd visit we arrived at 8am and fished until 1530. We fished by the big Oak tree at the end.Fished single 20mm boilie against the far trees and had 6 common carp all low doubles biggest being 13lb. On way back to the van to leave the very first shallow pool had loads of carp in churning the clay everywhere.
The only lake on earth where you don't have to fish next to loads of people. U have entire lake to yourself , total bliss.

I didn't fish

Hot day, fished up by the big Oak tree in open water with pellet and boilie to catch 2 X carp around 9lb. Dropped into first swim on big lake section fished against the reeds catching a further one carp and losing 2. Lots of feeding activity with the fish turfing up the clay all over. Few fish cruising around.

Plenty of fish spotted , caught 2 carp off the top on chum mixer and enjoyed the surroundings. a lovely venue will defiantly be back!
