Lovely stretch of river, but no joy.

river in superb condition. and a few fish to make a very pleasant day

2 Grayling

Water was Gin clear surroundings are absolutely stunning, 200 yards from car park and your on the river. Tricky wading in some place and flat gravel in others so very easy. This stretch got it all. Was a tough day but found a few fish in the end. 5 Grayling & 1 brown trout, Can’t wait to get up there in the summer casting dries for browns.

Awesome stretch of river! Took one 10" ish grayling on a ptn early morning, then a blank for the rest of the day. Had a great time exploring all the pools, will be back in the summer!

hard days fishing with only four Grayling caught. Saw a number of Salmon.

Lovely day on the Upper river ruined by approx 20 canoes, clearly an organised group. This is happening all too often and despite being told that they should not be there by the beat owner, they carried on regardless.

A great day on the river although we couldn't find the grayling today. The river was quite high due to recent rain and lots of leaf debris but a beautiful beat and very friendly people.
