It felt like absolutely perfect conditions after the thunderstorms over the last few days. Caught some lovely brown trout. None of the biggies that I know are in here but I’ll be back again soon.

A lovely couple of hours spent this evening fishing one of my favourite Wye beats.
WUF I wonder if it would be possible to ask if half price evening tickets could be a possibility? As £20 plus pounds feels quite expensive for a couple of hours fishing on a summers evening.

Better conditions on the upper Wye as lower down the river was in flood. Couple of trout each on nymphs and spiders.
