Dry fly and nymphing, the latter only successful, average length 15cm.No fish taken. First 2km fished which required 4 river crossings each way. The vast majority of the river fished has boulder covered bottom making wading more difficult. There is a very distinct lack of fish.
Booking using the Passport system is straightforward.

Small black gnat tied spent fished under the overhanging trees in the shade on a hot sunny afternoon. Many small fish rising but easily spooked - stealth and fine leader required. Largest brown trout about 9 inches. None taken. Rose several fish with a red sparkle tailed Griffith's Gnat in the faster runs.
The river generally was in a very poor condition.

Clear, warm and sunny day. Some large trout seen in deeper water but no luck with raising them. One brown shy of a lb on a ptn.
