Arrived at midday weather cloudy but river low and clear fished groundbait feeder with 4mm pellet and meat on the hook steady bites all day from chub 2lb up to biggest 4lb 10oz stayed until dark hoping for a barbel but to no avail.

Conditions looked great, barbel 8lb biggest chub at just over 4lb. Most fish caught on feeder tactics, others and smaller chub came on trotting maggot (other chublet and Dace)
