Great first day of our fishing trip,arrived early afternoon after travelling to the area,bright sunshine and a low river greeted us as we arrived a,undeterred we baited up some shaded pegs with Hemp and Pellets ,the fish responded well with bites from mid afternoon onwards,most of the Barbel were around 5-7 lbs, the final fish of the session as the light faded was a cracking fish of 10 lbs 10 oz,looking forward to returning to this beat in the future.

Good days fishing as always at Home fishery, both anglers caught barbel from 6 lb up to 9 lb 2 with two nice 8lb fish. Fish in great condition and all fish actually looked bigger in the net than actually were.
