Heavy rain throughout the day, swimfeeder for Barbel and Chub. No bites
Vehicle got stuck on access track.

A good days fishing as usual on this beat.

Well this turned out to be my best ever session on the Wye over the last 5 years. Pretty much non stop all day particularly in the first two hours. All fish to pellet and hemp in the feeder and paste wrapped boilies as hookbait with a few of the chub on floatfished meat. Some real clonking Chub up to 5lb and Barbel up to 9lb. River low and clear but found the fish in the deeper sections.

5 Barbel, 16 Chub

PVA mesh and ledger. Not so many bites today but best chub about 4LB. Very enjoyable day again. Started at 9 am and left at 4pm

River a bit low. Used PVA mesh with ledger all day. Many bites missed and almost certain that we lost 2 barbel.
Very enjoyable day. Started at 10 am and finished at 4pm

Got off to a good start with 3 Chub in the first hour biggest around 4lb lost a few more Chub not a sign of a Barbel all afternoon. Love this beat had some really good days here missing my old fishing companion Jopp a Belgian malinois every beg brings back great memories.
