River was dropping off but Still plenty of colour and the sun was shining. Had 1 small chub and a Barbel of 3.8lb this was mid morning on feeder double krill 6mm dumbell. Nothing more until evening session where I had 2 chub biggest around 3.8lb then 2 more Barbel up to 5lb again on krill. Was hoping for another but as the river was on the way down chub was attacking the feeder which left nothing for the barbel. Still amazing day amazing settings.

We caught it perfectly. A nice rise in the river and good colour. The fish fed like mad. We alternated stick/waggler/ feeder but it hardly mattered. A truly incredible day.

Firstly river was up by 2 foot and pushing through with trees and branches Amazon style. Packed up to return in evening. Put out a feeder rod. 15 min later PB Barbel of around 7lb on double krill dumbbell. River level looked to be lowering ready for the morning. Parked car ar top and walked down. At least 2 vehicles got stuck on the track of doom.

First ever trip to the River Wye. The land scape didn't disappoint. River was reasonably low with some colour and pushing through. Fished rolling meat in a few swims, caught 1 Barbel before putting out the feeder rod which resulted in zero bites. Parked at the top and walked down. Stayed at the Inn on the wye. Highly recommend it.

Two Barbel caught early in the slack water behind a mostly underwater tree on Boilie just past the water works. Two further Barbel caught on meat and Boilie in the inside slacks near the start of the fishery. Went very quiet after lunch as the sun came out. As expected, the river was fast and I didn't try to fish the main flow. A good days fishing.
