Worth noting track down to the river is not for all cars
- you will need a good ground to chassis clearance
Conditions were very bright and hot
Lots of canoes , paddle borders and some open water swimmers most were very accommodating to anglers

Two anglers fished and our first time on this stretch so decided to fish the bottom end. Tried various swims and caught the chub in a few of them. One barbel lost otherwise no sign of them.

River in great condition and we managed to find some Barbel. This beat used to have some great swims from the bottom of the hill to just past the gate - none of them are accessible now. It seems strange that the only accessible swims today are opposite another WUF beat - Courtfield, yet the portion of Home Fishery that will never have other fishermen opposite has no access. I might bring my petrol strimmer next time as that is all it would take.
