Difficult day very low water level. Again the fishery had plenty of swims available in stunning countryside so no complaints from us. The only slight issue is the track down to the fishery. Absolutely fine when dry but struggled to get up after a little rain just before we left. Other fish pound and a half eel.

I had a fantastic day’s fishing. Warm, but overcast most of the day, low water levels. Not much luck on the feeder, so, on the kind advice of another angler, I moved to trotting pellets. This resulted in 4 barbel within the space of two hours. Experimented with other methods with limited success.

Really enjoyed my day thank you. River was low but still fished well and had some nice chub on the feeder. Will go back again.

Struggled. But to be fair blazing sunshine, very hot and very low water levels. Plenty of accessible swims.
Other fish was an eel.

Had some nice chub. Never one to moan But was spoilt because people were fishing the left bank all with 2 rods canoeists stopping for a picnic in the pegs. And general public on the island pool up to the forge pool fishing with spinning kits. Not ideal for the amount of money paid to fish for the day could do with bailiff checks during the day.

Pleasant warm day at Home Fishery. Several good chub - up to 5lbs and plenty of bites. 1 small Barbel caught and four good fish got off or broke the hook link. The banks had been well tended with several swims available. All fish caught on meat or corn.
1 Barbel, 12 Chub
