Barbel of 9lb, 8.5lb, 8.5lb and 7lb. All on banded elips pellet. Straight lead caught the fish but also used Ground bait feeder to get feed down.

First time user of the fishing passport and really impressed with the service.

4 eels! What a mess. Couldn't get past them to the barbel. A Syndicate member suggested using pellet rather than meat but it was too late in the day to change by then. The river was very low and clear but seemed cleaner than last time.

Water very low and hard going had a few nice chub no barbel this time, not many canoes this time which was surprising, next day on another beat must have been 50 although they were polite and had a bit of banter with a few of them.

Lost a fish at 5.15 am when the fish got tangled in a tree branch on Martins pool . Water got very dirty shortly after so I called it a day. I will definitely come back and fish again . Outstanding area.
