Late report 11 lbs FC from the Alders pool

11lbs to M.H on F.C.
Also 10 lbs to WUF rod on fly on 4/5 appears not to have been reported.
Likewise, a fish taken by Robin Stewart on fly on Redbrook on 27 April.
Water now perfect for lower beats but still few fish.

10lbs Fish, on a tube fly black and orange. A fantastic day, this beat is superb.

All well orgianised and a lovely day on the river. The Wye was fast flowing, high and coloured. There were signs of the water dropping. Valiant fly fishing attempts twinned with spinning using Fling Cs. Nothing seen or caught

Cadora Backs 2 in October, 28 for season.

We fished Upper Bigsweir on Wednesday 12 th October, the river was quite low and very clear. We saw only a couple of fish and had no takes. On thiursday 13th we fished Cadora Backs and also Upper Bigsweir and again, saw only a couple of fish and they were going through. Two good sized fish were seen at The Cockpits in the afternoon, but no takers!

15 lbs stale hen. Water still high and black with v.few fish remaining

Salmon(fresh) were certainly running and showing; 6-8 in the morning and 2-3 in the afternoon. Used small Cascade. A most attractive and fishable beat.
