Reasonable day all things considered. Heartbreak Hill conquered without too much pain! Fishing relatively sporadic throughout the day. All the barbel were very well rested before release. Lots of snags!!!! Overall a good day.

Enjoyable day on the stretch with a couple chub , an eel plus a minnow. We had 1 barbel at the end of the day.
It was a decent walk in made more challenging trying to get through the kissing gates. They were pretty over grown and made hard work of getting through them without ripping clothes or being stung by nettles.

A good day and not too hot. Fished the lucky stones in the forest-path ok if your travelling light. Really good chub fishing on both float and feeder using pellets. Barbel are there if you are patient enough with 2 @ 7.5lb caught on barbel bomb dumbells with feeder. Fishing was a bit up and down with slow patches but some great sport!
