4 anglers, tried up stream, too slow with no joy, moved to faster downstream around the woods and we all had fish, the trek downstream is not for the unfit and is a little precarious . The other fish was an eel. There was a lot of salmon activity in the down stream section with very big salmon jumping.

Very hot day and lost a lot of tackle in the lucky stones.. had 1 chub early. Fished from about 7am. Afternoon was hot but we fished at the top end of the beat and had another 7 chub and 2 barbel, barbel to about 5lb, caught on various pellet and meat all on feeder. Lovely piece of river however with 4 anglers there’s limited fishable pegs.
