Really enjoyed fishing here. Struggled to find the fish at first, I was casting in the much faster flowing areas. Usually on the Wye these are the holding spots but not the case here. Luckily there was another angler a few swims down who fishes it regularly, he told me where the good spots were and within minutes the fish started coming, thanks again Colin! All the barbel I caught where of a good size, smallest at 7lb biggest was 9lb. Good access and parking and plenty of room once your on the bank. I will be back again for sure - great fishing!

Fishing a bit tougher than usual, one decent barbel around 9lbs. Always good to be out fishing though though.

Absolutely spectacularly beautiful place. Very hot and bright sunshine all day. Fish switched on in last two hours of daylight. Up to 8lb for the barbel. Chub miniscule.
Barbel caught on pellet.
One rod blanked (except for the tiny chub) but it was a joy to be in such a gorgeous place.

The river had risen overnigh twith a nice colour so a good day looked in prospect.I fished near the top of the beat and in the church field.5 barbel with 2 lost and 1 chub was he result of a very pleasant day's fishing on a very nice part of the Wye valley. Fish caught on feeder with pellet on the hook.

1 barbel lost early on opposite the Church by one rod. I then landed two chub to 4lb and lost a decent sized barbel. Other than this it was a quiet day perhaps not helped by the conditions of sideways rain... A nice beat though.

The day dawned bright and sunny which did not fill us with confidence. We started in the field opposite the church and roved the entire stretch returning to the church field in the early evening.
My brother struggled for bites throughout the day which was odd as we both fished the usual methods. He ended the day with 1 barbel and 1 chub, with the remainder falling to my rod.
N.B. Canoes were a major disruption throughout the afternoon, with large numbers beaching on the gravel banks below the shallow water and stopping for lunch with many taking to swmimming the glide stretch below the shallows...needless to say we moved to the lower stretch as fishing during this period was not viable..!

Another scorcher of a day with unbroken sunshine, river low slow and clear. I didn't get going until late morning so was not expecting any action until the sun was down in the evening, however the chub and barbel fed throughout the day. Feeder tactics again doing the business. River needs a bit of fresh rain water to liven it up, but it is a beautiful place to fish, very peaceful and even the canoes behaved (although the ''stand up and paddle'' trio who came through, one of which clearly had a skinful and enjoyed falling in a few times where I was fishing, didn't ruin the day). The barbel and chub were of average size and nothing really note-worthy.

Another very hot and sunny day. Chub were active all day especially from 6pm onward when it was a fish a chuck. Although I've report 16, it might have been more because quite frankly I lost count. Generally the chub were a good size with a high percentage 4lb+. On the barbel front, had a good fish early afternoon (low 9's) and a smaller fish around 4lb during the late chub rush.

First time on this beat, conditions were not ideal with blue skies and high temperatures. Fish came throughout the day to pellet feeder and trotted meat. Will definitely return when water levels are higher. Yet another stunning and peaceful stretch of the river Wye which is a credit to WUF for enabling access.

Cracking beat with good access through fields. Loads of places to explore and different swims all the way along. Fished all day roughly catching every half hour or so. An absolute must and a credit to whoever owns this beat. Thanks for a great days fishing I thoroughly enjoyed it.
