Started sunny and cool with cloud increased through the day. Water temp 17 down from 22 last week with a tinge of colour. Fished the fast water opposite the island for most of the day with pellet feeder and assorted hookbaits. 9 of the chub were between 3 and 4 so a good stamp. We were spread out in the third field which looks ones most barbelly but no sign of barbel all day so I am in awe of the 3 (2) that 13 barbel out of the stretch on Monday. Regardless we had a lovely day in beautiful surroundings.

Three of us fishing but as a social so only two rods. Great day. River in really good condition. Lost a few barbel on a snag too. Had a few juvenile barbel in mint condition which was heartening

Two of us fishing. Quite tough conditions - bright, very windy, river low. Despite that the chub were hurling themselves onto the bank - lovely condition fish and a good stamp. No sign of any barbel

A low river combined with very strong winds blowing directly upstream made for difficult fishing conditions, fortunately the chub were quite obliging and fed in spells throughout the day. The majority of the chub were around 3-3.5lb mark with a couple of chublets, all caught on pellet, unfortunately there was no sign of the barbel.

good days fishing with some good size chub, again no barbel which is a shame due to spawning and low water!

Clear skies in morning with a bit of cloud after that but hot all day. River very low, with a tinge of colour but also a 22 degree water temperature so low expectations. Fished the fast water 0745 to 0915 and 1530 to 1700 when I had to leave, without a bite. Fished the top swim which is a bit precarious but had 4 chub under 2lb ut the rest averaging 3lb on pellet feeder and an assortment of hookbaits . Bankside weed reduced swims in front of the church and everywhere apart from the steps swim in the upper field where there was no Bankside weed was completely overgrown. But overall a good day in beautiful surroundings.
