Was to be second day of two. But water so low it was not viable to fish.

No water in the rivers on any of the beats covered by this passport. Only very small fish seen and caught.

Fished a couple of the upper beats in the morning, river very low nothing moving at all. Moved to a beat on the Towy when the rain started. 2 trout caught on a gold head nymph and a few more lost.

Actual number of trout caught was about 24, almost all were returned and were too small to keep. Two were kept for the frying pan one about a pound and one about ten ounces. All caught on light tackle using worm. Weather was overcast about 18 Celsius. It had rained locally two days earlier leaving a good flow with slightly coloured water.

fished from a few hors before dark until first light and caught only a few brownies in the fading light
