Only small fish 10-35 cm but plenty. One bigger 40+ came off the hook after two impressive jumps. Method:spin. Cloudy with sunny spells. Very low water. I spent maybe 6 hours fishing. C&R

River low, water temp high not good conditions, went to reservoir instead. No fish caught. It would be helpful if more details about where to park and where to access the river was made available.

6 fish between us, 3 each after Brett dry netted yesterday.
As a relative newcomer, he learnt a lot in one days fishing after I pulled rank and took the fresh water he took all the fresh water and hooked a fish at least 3lb, it immediately leapt clear of the water, and threw the hook.
I long released two fish in the 2lb class, really interesting water and perhaps less than 10% covered in 2 days, real hidden gem. Hard work wading and in places not child friendly.

The river Taff is making the headlines locally with some good catches of suburb natural Brown Trout. The river is a good fishing height and should not disappoint

River Taff is fishing well at the moment with some lovely natural brown trout coming out. Mid day until about 3-30pm is best.
Most fish fish coming to sunk nymphs but the dry fly fishing picking up

River was had a bit of colour and was dropping so I was hopeful for a good day's fishing. Despite this it was hard work and the fish seemed reluctant. Perhaps a sign of too much fishing pressure? 2/3 stockies caught too, unfortunately.

I was fishing from 1PM till 7PM. Level of water normal or slightly high. It took me a couple of hours to find the best lure for that day or maybe fish started feeding better towards the evening? :) I landed several decent fish. Method spin. Overall very successful day.
