River very high on all beats but a scenic and enjoyable days fishing starting at Beat 2 for a couple of hours, moving on the Beat 3 where I missed a good take, then to Beat 8 and finally a couple of hours late afternoon at Beat 7a where a nice 10 oz brownie took my mallard & claret. Other flies used were weighted red/gold nymph, small shrimp & Daiwl Bach.
Sunny start then cloud cover from 1600hrs.
Many thanks to Neil and Olivia at the Red Lion Pontrhydfendigaig for an enjoyable 2 night stay.
Will return next spring to the queen of rivers

Great fishing until mid-afternoon. Four brown trout over 1lb caught and released wet fly - mallard and claret worked well. River rose steadily throughout the afternoon during rainfall (and temperature drop) which seemed to affect the evening fishing. River as beautiful as ever and good to see the brown trout population are clearly recovering well.

Llyn Egnant. Windy and Heavy Showers. Last time I cast a fly was about 30 years ago.

Not Fished. Weather too blustery for Teifi Pools
River Teifi water levels too low.
No fish larger than little finger seen.

Caught on Green Peter Hopper Fished Dry on surface.
Released Back.
Conditions overcast with occasional rain. Wind quite blustery.
Confined to sheltered areas otherwise casting difficult
