Llyn Berwyn- little sign of an evening rise but 2 trout of around 1/2 lb caught and returned

Very few signs of trout but a large sea trout spotted in a small pool by the road bridge

Fished Llyn Berwyn - 2 browns of around a pound - taken on nymph/spider patters - both returned

River very high on all beats but a scenic and enjoyable days fishing starting at Beat 2 for a couple of hours, moving on the Beat 3 where I missed a good take, then to Beat 8 and finally a couple of hours late afternoon at Beat 7a where a nice 10 oz brownie took my mallard & claret. Other flies used were weighted red/gold nymph, small shrimp & Daiwl Bach.
Sunny start then cloud cover from 1600hrs.

Will return next spring to the queen of rivers
