The forecast was way off and the wind was wild on the Llyns so after an hour of slogging away against the wind we headed to Lampeter and fishing beat 7b. I managed 8 small trout on the dry. Just a note for anyone going to that beat, when parking at Castell farm the farmer would like you to park on the yard and let him know by knocking on the side door of the farm house.

No fish. No bites

all 4 taken on half hogs size 12 and 14s. all on llyn teifi in the afternoon. blank on llyn egnant in the morning. very little cloud and blazing sun.

Weather was terrible. Rain on and off and very strong northerly wind. The track down to the water was passable with care. I gave up at about 2.00pm. No fish caught.

A difficult day with strong blustery winds which kept the fish down. We did manage 7 between us though on various methods including hoppers and hopper daddies fished along the banks of various Lyns. There were a few daddies about blowing on to the surface and a few sedges on Egnant.

10 at Llyn Teifi and 2 at Llyn Hir, all on or just under the surface, sedgehog with legs and soldier palmer.

Couple of misses on Llyn Egnant, lots of recreational activities on this lake.

Fished Llyn Teifi, 4 trout caught and returned and a few others lost.
