The day started dry, breezy and cloudy but soon became very wet as a frontal system passed through and by the afternoon it became dry once more.
Fishing Llyn Hir in the morning and Llyn Teifi in the afternoon proved to be challenging with sub-surface flies taking the few fish of the day.

Dull and sultry. Not a peep from the fish. Quit after two hours.

River Teifi - Tregaron Beat 2 - nothing caught, some takes on dry fly under tree overhangs over deep mid section, Klinkhammer and Caddis

Llyn Teifi - Bright day, some shower cloud, 10" wild brown caught near the dam on Blue Zulu.

Nothing caught due to a change in weather, strong south west winds, and temperature dropped. Not a great deal of fish activity, but still had a superb time with dad. Beautiful wild and rugged scenery walked many miles across to each of the lakes, will most definitely be back again.

A magnificent location. Lively, beautifully marked Brownies. We'll definitely be back.

6 brownies x 10", i x 14" - nice breezy day, warm for late sep - not many rising - most caught on wet just below surface - no fly life obvious - stunning countryside
