Great day at Llyn Egnant ,meet some nice and helpful Fishman. It was a warm and bright day with a stiff wind . But what a llyn,caught one on a Alexandra. It's the first time I've been there but definitely not the last . Very few coch y bonda on show .

Bright, sunny day (got sunburnt!) with little breeze. No joy with wets so switched to dry fly as fish were rising on eastern side just up from the dam. 2 fish taken on coch y bondu, 6 and 8 inches. Beautiful fish, both returned. The most spectacular place to fish.

What a superb location. There was a strong wind blowing, but walking access to east and west banks are easy, as was wading . One good pull and several splashy takes, but nothing to the net. Still, what a lovely day.

Glorious day. Largest fish 16 inches, which was surprise!

Lovely overcast day with a good breeze it looked like the making of a good days fishing. However the fish had other ideas. After a couple of takes on wets during the morning session I thought the dries might stir them. Lots of splashy takes only one fish came to the net. It was a busy day with 5 other anglers sharing the water. Nice the chat and exchange flies. A great day.. . covered a lot of water it'seems not about catching big numbers of fish.

NW wind (@12mph), air temp 10-14 felt colder, sunny with partial cloud. Unidentifiable dark fly hatch, sporadic rises throughout the day. Lock style, floating line: returned 2 (6’’ & 10’’), missed 2. A great day.

Glorious day. Fish rising to terrestrials blown into the margins.
