Cold and windy couple of pulls nothing landed

Fished Llyn Teifi instead, had a couple, lost one.

Introduced a fishing buddy to this wonderful llyn, and we had a great day searching the margins with dries. Most of the fish came blind but we did cover a handful of rises throughout the day. As ever, we worked hard for the fish, keeping mobile and covering as much water as possible. There's certainly a great stamp of fish in this llyn.

Fished Berwyn for a couple of hours - had issues with family who were paddle boarding across llyn - it would be good if sign were in place mentioning that this is not a boating lake for the would be paddle boarder, the noise and disturbance was enough to put the fish down and away from the banks - caught one 10" and then left t fish Llyn Teifi 3 WBT 12" - 16" caught.

Did not fish berwyn, fished beats 6,5 & 8 on river - 5 WBT caught and released between 14” - 20” largest 20 inch WBT in perfect condition. River high and carrying a little colour otherwise perfect conditions.

Not a many fish showing overcast with squally showers had 4 fish on floating sedge hog missed a few others

Another wonderful day on one of my favourite llyns. I stuck with the dries all day amongst the squally winds and showers. Most of the fish came blind, with some explosive takes. An excellent stamp of fish (largest 13-inches) – as ever, they fight well above their weight.

Never came off dries all day, daddy patterns. In the morning they wanted them pulled then early afternoon when the weather warmed up and there was an incredible damsel hatch they took dry. Then the sun came out, they were stuffed and that was that. Fantastic day on a wonderful llyn
