Trickey day, windy and very bright, very little rising. We both had takes but didn’t connect. One fish taken about 1.5lbs.

First time fishing here. Tried with buzzers late afternoon. No bites.

1 fish taken. Good day three othe anglers turned up but there’s plenty of room. Waders definately a help. Not much rising.

Fished Berwyn early morning, wet and windy 3 takes on Coch y bonddhu fished wet.

Fished Llyn Teifi then Llyn Hir, wet and windy 2 trout from each on an orange bodied hares ear (wet)
Very remote mountain location, but you can park by the water via a reasonable access track. Trout approx 11-12"

Caught 5 trout up to a 1lb each on sparely feathered nymphs.

It took us quite a while to sort out how to unlock the gate and once through we managed to fish from 10.00am until 3.30pm in overcast conditions with occasional light drizzle and sunshine.
There were very few rising fish and very little fly life to be seen all day and no fish were caught.

Went to llyn Teifi instead. Fished for about 4 hours. Only caught 2 small trout but great sport. Usual Loch wet flies on a floating line did the trick. No fish seen feeding on the surface at all.
