Total fiasco with parking arrangements to fish beat 5 Lockstep pool as previous angler has mentioned. Complete right off.

Arrived very late in the day in very hot weather. No bites.No fish

Beautiful weather, lost 2 barbel as well. Fished beat 5 to the outside of the big bend as the pace quickens.

Great day river was up on normal summer levels by a foot or so , good fishing all fish fell to pellet , biggest Barbel went 8lb 3oz . Fished with a good friend and we both had a great day , Whitney looked after us today with

First time on the river. Following Storm Beatty water was a bit high. Fantastic scenery and Terry the keeper was very helpful in suggesting where to fish. No luck this time, but that's probably down to my skills. Have another 4 days booked on same stretch so looking forward to workig on my technique.
