Water clarity was improved by the end of the day but still a lot of water pushing trough and it hold the level all day.

Another potential springer day on the Wye colour better than yesterday. Fished beats 1, 5 and 6 gave it a proper crack spinning slow and as low as you dare in the cold fcs rubber shad and devon from high bank beat 5. Got to know the beat but not her Salmon! Thanks to Terry and local rod for the advice, time to go home now sad face.

Hard going. Low clear river. Legered bread flake and feeder worked best

3 Chub

Slow second day with only two fish coming right on dark, which was kind of what I expected in the conditions. Nothing massive but a nice day mixing the chub and the pike.

3 Chub, 3 Pike

Despite river being low, clear and cold and weather bright and sunny, the chub fed steadily all day. Lost 3 fish as well, mainly due to incompetence!

I had a wander but didnt bother fishing as the river was way over normal levels.

One pike and a couple of follows on lures. Beautiful day and no where near as cold as the forecast made out it was going to be.

One lovely barbel on luncheon meat chub on pellet was a quiet day with a cold wind only fished for three hours

1 Barbel, 4 Chub

Covered the lower end of the stretch with both lures and wobbled deadbaits but only 1 dropped take for my efforts. Watched (and videoed) a large otter having its breakfast on beat 4 - a great sight but perhaps not for the fish! Plenty of salmon splashing about still.
