No fish today, fished 12:00- 18:00 so left to early really, we wanted to watch the football. Weather was sunny, river was low, Good easy access to swims. We did have the same guy as yesterday on middle hill court with an accent checking our tickets as he claims he was a bailiff for angling dreams? Seemed friendly enough but just checking?

A short evening session on the lower section of the beat with 1 average sized barbel and 4 good sized chub to the net. Water quite low and dropping. Alternated between feeder tactics and trotting pellet. A nice looking beat which I'd fish again.
