Quite difficult conditions. Bright and sunny with a strong cool breeze for most of the day. Low water continues with stretches between riffle sections clear and barely moving. No significant hatches through the day or evening. Main action on nymph in upstream section, broken water, 1 brown trout landed and returned.

A stiff breeze upstream, bright sun and low water level didn’t help so just fished the pools. Small march brown did the trick, but it hard work - thats fishing.

River low, gin clear, bright sun. 3 wbt on waterhem bloa early afternoon. Then fish started feeding on something else and no amount of fly changes revealed what it was. Plenty of fish action.
Lovely part of the world.

Another bright and warm day, the river low but clear and looking in decent condition despite a month of no rain. Fished early and late. Had one fish of about a pound at the bottom in the morning and another at the top in the evening. Both returned. Lovely to see the kingfisher, dippers, ducklings and martins. There were a number of youths spinning on the far bank and a couple of kayakers came through.

Hot and sunny throughout the day but some rising fish mostly in faster water, even in the hottest part of the day. March Brown emerger pattern and size 20 Parachute Adams accounted for all fish which were all around 10 in.
