Colour dropped out of river and ok for a fly. Fished Dolmeudwy and Chapel catches between 1.00-7.00pm.
No salmon caught or seen.

Weather conditions and river flow perfect. Lots of insect life but few fish rising. Hence mostly nymphing techniques used though some success with dries late afternoon. A beautiful and very accessible beat. Many thanks again to Fishing Passport making such beats available to visitors.

rose a fish in the gutters, didnt take fly though. Did have a good take from a 4lb ish Chub not a good fight, Shad still about

Very bright day with no activity, but lovely to be on this stetch of the Wye. Sadly only had time to fish the lower sections, so will be back to have another go and will fish the upper section as well!
1x small WBT caught from the Orchard/Croy pools.
