Just one very small fish. River not as high as we expected and was totally fishable

River low, no sign of fish. Wading difficult with large stone river bed.

Disappointing day very few fish seen

Beat 2 is very difficult to access and anglers have to wade across the Twrch to reach the lower end of the beat at the parking area. The stones in the river are very slippery and a wading stick is essential.
It was a cold day with very little fly coming off the water and we saw no sign of any fish rising.
Tried to move upstream and checked about 4 bridges that cross the beat but could not get to the water from any of them.
If we had been able to view the beat map and then the same on Google maps we would not have booked this beat.
It would be an improvement to this website if these were made available to anglers prior to committing themselves to the booking.
