Hard going but probably down to our inexperience....lovely stretch ...missed a few on olives ... look forward to giving it another go ...locals say it's quite low at the moment..

Only had morning which was shared with many dogs swimming for sticks ( and in one case my line !) and people paddling. But hey it was a sunny sunday in a popular location !.
Decent hatch ( olives ? ) but few rises possibly due to disturbance. Could have been productive later in the day.

I’d have been better off with a kite. Did see a few nice looking trout near the pipe bridge and one just by the park/bridge. I think the mornings are still a bit too cold. I’ll be back though lovely bit of water and very accessible

Arrived late in afternoon from London. Managed to get my foul casting back to par. Couple of rises but nothing to trouble the scorers.

Nice beat with plenty of fish to have a go at. A little rusty but managed a couple of small browns fishing a dry upstream in a relatively short session. This beat is sometimes a little busy with members of the public and dog walkers, but still very pleasant none the less. Will definitely return!

LDO CDC dun, BWO Para dun, Pale Watery Para dun, Baetis Nymph. A steady trickle of LDO's from 12-2.30pm saw fish rising and the majority of fish came to a CDC dun imitation.
