Never had a knock all day despite the occasional fish showing. Tried various lakes

Lovely lake and conditions at Llyn Frongoch. 1st fish of the evening was a Rudd, caught on small CDC dry fly.
2 rainbows hooked on plain goldhead black tadpole lure, fished slow. Larger one taken, weight estimate 3lbs. Smaller escaped at net side. 1 last rainbow caught and released, late evening on dry emerger pattern.

Llyn Syfrydrin - blank in rock hard conditions - bright and easterly wind. Nothing rising.

Rhosrhydd - 2 Brown Trout returned - between 1lb and 1.5lb. Hard conditions - hot, bright and easterly wind.

Fished Glandwgan in the morning and didn't see a fish. There was a strong east wind blowing across the lake. Moved to Rhosrhydd after lunch where it was more sheltered and caught 10 fish. Biggest was close to 3lb but they we're all good fish in pristine condition. Fish we're rising all afternoon but were quite picky. All were caught on small black dry flies. Excellent day's fishing
