Did get onto the water until 12 and was fishing from rowing boats. Spin and lure fishing was used by all angles. 5cm lures ended up being the only thing to catch with the fish taking tight up against the banks. All fish caught were under 1lb with a couple of bits which seems to be from larger fish

All fish were released with excellent returns.

Hard day with poor conditions

Horrendous rain all day until about 4pm which is when I decided to start fishing Dywarchen. Fish were moving at the surface and a Klinkhammer brought 4 Rainbows and 1 brown to the net before I called it a day at 6:30pm. Wet and cold but good fishing.

I fished Dywarchen. Too windy for the boat so fished from the bank and had lot’s of action with a Klinkhammer and small Caddis Pupae. Had lot’s of takes and hooked 10 and landed 8 between 8am and 12 noon. It then went quiet so I had a break and came back in the evening at 7:30pm for the evening rise. Fish were rising everywhere but mainly out of range as I had chosen to fish from the bank again. Landed 4. All fish were returned and weighed between 1 1/2 to 3Lb.

Very wet and windy so couldn’t get the boat out, so fished from the bank. 3 small browns landed and missed another 3 takes.

Actually fished llyn dywarchen. 2 mins after I arrived a member turned up and gave me a non stop mouthful of abuse f@cking this, f@cking that, park your f@cking van square on(that would put it overhanging the road by 1m). My van did take up 2 spaces in an area for 8 cars, which was never full. Very uncomfortable encounter. Horrible local man.
