Wonderful day - fish very active, rising all day. Olives and sedges in the air. finally figured it out - extra long leader/tippet. DH Caddis in the feed lanes and beetles under the trees. 3 to the net, 3 lost of thrown hook and 2 lost to snaps (which was v frustrating I can tell you), missed many more

Grayling to c1lb and trout to 13" caught on drys and wets. Started about 600m below the bridge and fished to the upper limit. Fared better in the section above the bridge. Very good variety of water but tricky wading.

Fished below the bridge as I had limited time. Water level good and allowed easy wading . Fished the Foam line with a selection of dries, hooked five and missed many more. A very enjoyable couple of hours.
