Although the river looked spot on and thinning down nice, we only managed a couple of barbel and chub of no size on feeder fished scolded pellets and paste.

River appeared to have dropped slightly but soon began to rise very quickly. 2 Rods managed 4 Barbel & 2 Chub in difficult conditions. Pellet & meat accounted for the fish. Will be back.

A pretty slow day despite the favourable river colour and overcast conditions. Fished at the lower limit of the beat intially, but no action. Moved to Hut Pool and had 3 Barbel each to about 7lb. Despite the small amount of fish a lovely day out as always.

Warm windy day. Arrived a bit later than I wanted but had a barbel very quickly of 5lbs, taken on luncheon meat not far out in the crease about halfway down the beat. Nothing else even when I moved further downstream. Several fish jumping out of the water, anyhow saw a kingfisher several times. Lovely place and enjoyed my three days fishing on various beats of the Wye and Lugg. Top marks WUF the system worked perfectly for me and I will be back.

A generally slow day with the river low and relativley clear. A slow stream of fish coming to halibut pellet, throughout the day a total of 9 Barbel taken between 2 rods.
All in all a great day out, thank you.

Unfortunately the last day of a great trip weather today was a bit cooler with quite a strong wind. We tried to fish the more sheltered areas by the bend and ended up with 17 barbel of which R H caught 16 and 17 chub all caught on pellets and boillies. That ends five great days fishing on WUF waters and we can't thank the Foundation enough. Also a very special mention for Colin the keeper as nice and knowledgeable a man as you will ever meet. For anyone that's interested we stayed in Charades guest house in Hereford a really good B&B and Helen can tell you all about the best pubs in town.
