Very low water level and foul weather conditions meant huddling under shelters and not roving to find the fish. Barbel on krill boilies and chub on meat and a tutti fruiti pop-up!

A difficult and disappointing day with nothing until late afternoon. Searched the whole of the best below the bridge with various methods but just very hard going. Water levels low.

Ok day fishing past the bridge, most of the fish caught were at the end of the day on meat. Barbel were not feeding

Great day, plenty of action at the lower end of the beat, all fish in mint condition in glorious surroundings. Chub 2-4lb, and Barbel 6-8lb

Rod 2 caught from middle stretch. Rod 1 slept again ?
Very tough day.

We had a very good time and enjoy this beat with the easy access.
It seems the fish have moved from the faster water and and are now in the deeper sections. We worked hard for our fish this time but found them in the end. Great to be on the river with the leaves turning.

A beautiful stretch, plenty of swims at the bottom end. There are a couple of decent swims at the top end but going downstream to the Suspension Bridge swims are very limited. Not worth the price

Fished the bottom section. A cold start followed by a sunny morning and cloudy afternoon. All 5 chub caught on meat using touch leger. Hook pulled on what felt like a good barbel.
