Lovely venue, no fish caught very low water conditions

River was low and slow despite some recent rain. The weather was dry and windy but better than the forecast rain.
All fish caught on meat on a feeder. Two others were eels. good sized chub to four pounds and best barbel about 5 pounds.
Lovely spot but extract engine was noisy.

Made good on the 5 till dusk offer, not done before.Good stretch in good condition. Due really is the witching hour for the barbel.

£100 for 1 eel! Need I say more.

River could do with some more water but we still caught plenty of fish.
Most of the chub were 8oz up to 3lb.

The Barbel were about 12oz which shows the river is very healthy.

3 Barbel, 30 Chub

Lovely stretch and accesability is good....fished before the school holidays so no parties in the river. It was hot and sunny, river low and streamer weed gone due to pollution. no barbel but may show later in the season. Lots of fry in the edge.

Only two rods fished due to covid. River low and although freshened up by weekend rain did not fish well
Only One 2lb chub and one 3lb eel caught
