Enjoyable day on a really well managed beat. All fish on feeder and pellet. Biggest of the barbel was around 6lb, chub 3lb. River still low, where is the rain! We fished the top end and probably should have been more mobile as we never really got anything going consistently. Will definitely return.

All fish caught on feeder and pellet or meat. River was low and very shallow on our side. Chub caught on near bank, barbel on far side. Really lovely beat with good signage and plenty of accessible swims.

Great day on this cracking stretch of the Wye.
Tried the lower section and found hungry Chub in large numbers.Eventually managed to locate some Barbel later in the day

Tough day on a low and gin clear river. Started in the lower field first light but not a touch. Moved upstream around midday and caught bits on the float before trying the top pegs last knockings with no joy.
Beautiful beat, well managed and great access. Nice to meet Stefan briefly who obviously takes great pride in his work.
