Had a short afternoon session due to really heavy rain through the morning, but still had a couple of fish, a chub from the top swim, and a nice Barbel from the concrete strip by the car park.

River very low as expected, but it is clear and it’s good to see more weed than on our previous visits but fish hard to come by. Very few bites and only one Barbel between two anglers.

Back in the Why after 3 years ,nothing has changed for the better regarding bankside ,overgrown and swims all dangerous for old grimmers like me ,but fishing as good as ever .
